Growing up in little Schulenburg,Texas with Dad a big-band drummer, Mom in the church choir, and a piano gathering dust in the living room--it soon became obvious that music and plunking on the keyboards was in her jeans, er uh genes (thank goodness the plunking turned into actual playing ). And piano-lessons of Bach & Beethoven soon gave way to garage-band sessions of Motown & Rock.
Then in and out of ‘weekend party bands’ in Houston over the years, a taste wasn’t enough – thank goodness there’s TOAST AND JAM to satisfy her appetite!…
And thank goodness for large roller coasters at large theme parks! -- thru them (no, on them!) with her son, she’s been able to reach soprano notes above ‘high G’!…
When not “Toasting and Jamming” , she’s a free-lance commercial copywriter/voice talent for 97.9 “THE BOX” and “MAJIC 102” Radio Stations, a home schooling mom, and has performed as an actress at the Wortham Theatre and Hobby Center with ‘DOIN’ WHAT MATTERS’ Musical Theatre Company.
