Born in Pennsylvania, raised in Virginia, she got to Texas as quickly as possible. Her singing styles range from Ann Wilson to Shania to Aretha and all points in between. She has performed locally with several bands before finding her home with Toast and Jam. Opening for acts like Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, The Dixie Chicks, and Grace Jones. She charted with a re-make of "Get Ready" which was adopted as the theme song for The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders in the early '90's. She has performed internationally as a member of Exposé. When she was 18 she toured the east coast in a rock band called BUBIT (best unknown band in town). They opened for such notables as Black Oak Arkansas and The Dixie Dregs. She comes from a singing family and all of her siblings are performers. |
